THE MONGOLZ vs PARTY ASTRONAUTS CS2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | Mongolz $1.20 at GG Bet | PA $4.47 at GG Bet |
When: | June 14, 2024 | 10:00 CEST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ESLCS) |
The MongolZ made a massive statement last week when they won YaLLa Compass 2024. A week prior, they also claimed the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2024 title, and in May, they reached the round of 12 at ESL Pro League Season 19.
Party Astronauts have not accomplished anything nearly as impressive, nor have they won a single tournament this season — despite competing only in lesser regional events. Their most notable achievement was placing second at the recent Thunderpick World Championship 2024: North American Series #2.
The MongolZ have severely overperformed over the last two months. Even though this wont last for long, theyre in great form and should not struggle against North Americas fifth-ranked team.
AURORA GAMING vs TEAM FALCONS CS2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | Aurora $2.29 at GG Bet | Falcons $1.61 at GG Bet |
When: | June 14, 2024 | 11:45 CEST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ESLCS) |
Team Falcons have found some success this year, but they lack consistency. They reached the semifinals at Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2024 in February and added another top-four finish at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 in May. In the remaining five tournaments, the Falcons have not placed higher than the top nine.
A major factor could be their lack of games, as the Falcons have played just 12 fixtures since mid-April. Over that stretch, however, they have put up some decent showings, with close games against G2 Esports, BetBoom Team, and Virtus.pro.
Aurora Gaming have been far more active, with 17 games this month. However, they have just three wins from their last nine outings, even though they’ve have been playing mostly second-tier teams.
Team Falcons are not in good form, but theyre a much more stacked team than Aurora Gaming. So even though this is a best-of-one game, its tough to make a strong case against the Falcons at the offered betting odds.
COMPLEXITY vs ALLIANCE CS2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Best Odds: | COL $1.15 at GG Bet | Alliance $5.37 at GG Bet |
When: | June 14, 2024 | 12:50 CEST |

After a miraculous run at ESL Pro League Season 19, where they reached the semifinals, Complexity Gaming have not been able to show the same level of performance. They exited Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2024 in 13th-16th place and recently ended YaLLa Compass 2024 in the group stage.
The sudden drop in form might shock some, but its more that Complexity overperformed in Malta and are now showing their true colours — as a team that doesnt belong among the elite few.
Alliance are the lowest-rated team in ESL Challenger J?nk?ping 2024, sitting at no.97 on the global Counter-Strike standings. Theyve not won a single tournament this season and are 2-5 from their last seven, despite only playing weaker teams.
Complexity have proved they dont belong in the upper echelons of the Counter-Strike scene. But theyre still significantly more potent than Alliance, which should show on Friday.
ENCE vs MIBR CS2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | ENCE $2.40 at GG Bet | MIBR $1.56 at GG Bet |
When: | June 14, 2024 | 14:15 CEST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ESLCS) |
ENCE are priced as substantial underdogs for their ESL Challenger J?nk?ping 2024 opener against MiBR, which doesnt make much sense — not because ENCE are that strong, but because MiBR are not that much better.
ENCE recently crashed out of RES European Masters Fall 2023 in 9th-12th, and they werent much more successful at YaLLa Compass 2024, with just one win from five games played. But MiBR have not won a tournament since ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2024 in April and were just as uninspiring as ENCE in their outings, losing to 9z Team and Bounty Hunters Esports.
Its hard to find a good reason to believe in ENCE, but its even harder to justify backing MiBR at the offered betting odds. At $2.40 with the best esports betting sites, there is value in backing ENCE to spring an upset.
The BLAST Premier Fall Showdown will take place from October 4-8, with the Americas and European regional events running concurrently.
Both tournaments will feature eight teams, and only the winners of each Showdown will qualify for the BLAST Premier Fall Final later this year.
The Americas Showdown will feature Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses, Complexity Gaming, FURIA Esports, Imperial Esports, Forsaken, Party Astronauts and Legacy.
Most esports betting sites have Team Liquid and FURIA Esports marked as equal favourites at $3.00, closely followed by Complexity at $4.50.
Meanwhile, the European Showdown will feature BIG, G2 Esports, OG, ENCE, 9INE, Movistar Riders, Alliance and Cloud9.
GG Bet has ENCE marked as the clear favourite at $2.75, closely followed by G2 Esports at $3.00 and Cloud9 at $5.00.
The winners of each regional tournament will take home a US$20,000 grand prize and book their place in the Fall Final in Copenhagen in November.

At the outset of the opening day’s group stage, Alliance faced a daunting challenge as Effect was unable to compete due to visa delays.
However, a glimmer of hope has emerged on the horizon.
Despite the setback of playing without Effect, Alliance exhibited an exceptional performance.
They secured a crucial victory on Worlds Edge during the Group C vs. Group D matches, thanks to the outstanding contributions of their substitute player Mikkel “Mande” Hestbek.
Following this impressive triumph, Alliance received uplifting news.
I GOT MY VISA BIRMINGHAM I COME LFGGGG
— Effect (@xEffecto) September 6, 2023
If this visa approval holds, Effect could soon join his teammates in Birmingham.
Under ALGS rules, teams are allowed to switch players and utilize their designated substitute throughout the tournament.
The inclusion of Effect in the line up adds a significant boost of firepower to the Alliance squad, making them a formidable contender for winning the ALGS Championship.
]]>Among the individuals are Miron “Effect” Novikov from Alliance, Kiryl 9impulse Kostsiu and Lev taskmast33r Grigoriev of Aurora Gaming.
To fill in for Effect, Mikkel “Mande” Hestbek will step up, while Aurora Gaming will fill the spots of 9impulse and taskmaster with Jose Uxako Llosa from Entropiq and Keenan Tax Mackey from Myztro Gaming.
Welcome to ALGS: Championship 2023
Due to visa issues, we had to invite substitutes to participate in the Champs. Thanks to @Taxington and @UxakoTTV for help.
Important note: if @9impu1se & @taskmast33r can get a visa before/during ALGS, they will arrive and play. pic.twitter.com/YEIqGTvOlm
— Aurora Apex (@AuroraApex_GG) September 5, 2023
These visa related challenges mark another instance within a series of issues that have plagued the ALGS this year.
Back in May, several players were unable to attend the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs in Stockholm, Sweden, due to similar visa complications.
The frustrations stemming from these visa problems have affected both players and fans alike.
The general manager for the Alliance Apex Legends team Pontus “Chef P.” Bengtsson, released an update on the team and what things will look like at the ALGS Championship via his twitter account.
Short #ALGS update
Mande will start the group stage as our sub
Effect will come if we get VISA news before Friday
A prize cut split is already in agreement between Effect/Mande

Despite these setbacks both Alliance and Aurora Gaming are still eligible to participate at the event.
However they will face a disadvantage because they will have to rely on substitutes who may not be as acquainted with the game or their teammates.
Unfortunately, Fire Beavers will not get to participate at the Championship at all, as none of their players received visas in time, leaving them with no choice but to forfeit their spot at the event.
The ALGS Championship marks the pinnacle of the year ALGS circuit.
This tournament will showcase 40 top notch Apex Legends teams from across the globe vying for a portion of the $2 million prize pool.
The ALGS Championship is scheduled to take place from September 6-10.
]]>Handsken, 28, started his professional career in 2014 while representing the European team LAJONS. The Swedish player has also competed for Ninjas in Pyjamas, compLexity Gaming, The Final Tribe, and first played for Alliance in 2016. He left for No Diggity in 2017 and returned to Alliance once more in October 2019, before exiting and making a return again on December 2, 2022.
The former Ninjas in Pyjamas player also competed in the 2019 DreamLeague Season 12 while representing Alliance and brought with him a first-place finish after a back-and-forth tussle with North American team Demon Slayer. In The International 2021, he led his team to a 9thC12th finish.
S4 started his career in early 2012 while he was signed to Russian-based outfit Team Empire. Like Handsken, the 30-year-old has previously played for Alliance. He first represented them in 2013, and he left the following year, only to rejoin the team on two other occasions — in 2015 and 2020. S4 has a track record for playing with top-tier esports organizations such as Evil Geniuses, Team Secret, Copenhagen Wolves, and OG.
S4 has a long list of accolades that have been sent his way. He was the second player to win The International and a Valve Major, just behind Clement “Puppey” Ivanov. He won TI3 while representing Alliance, who took home $1,437,190 in prize money — 50% of the total pool. He also helped Evil Geniuses to third place at TI8.
“Im excited to be back in Alliance working with all the people and staff behind the scenes and especially with this new lineup that I think has a lot of potential going forward,” s4 said.
“Since we are coming from two different regions you can expect some fun Dota from us starting in Division II while we fight our way up. Even though fans expectations are low right now, my goal is to change that and go far next year.”
Both players will be joining other Alliance players on the team, which includes support Remus “ponlo” Goh, Malaysian player Ng “ChYuan” Kee Chyuan, and carry player Charlie “CharlieDota” Arat.
]]>The decision to bring in new players was due to the teams poor Division I showing during the Western Europe Dota Pro Circuit (DPC), where they went head-to-head against the top teams in the region. The organization was unable to win any of the seven series or games played in the Western European DPC.
As a result, Alliance was moved to Division II after the team came in last place. After the regional league ended, offlaner symetricaL was taken off the team, and CTOMAHEH1 has followed suit as the franchise looks to rebuild.? ?
Although the Swedish team performed poorly, it received an invitation to ESL One Malaysia 2022. The tournament is an independent competition with a US$400,000 prize pool and is scheduled to be held on August 23. ESL One Malaysia 2022 will reportedly not give any DPC points and will take place after the Arlington Major.?
?Both symetricaL and CTOMAHEH1 are being replaced with new players in preparation for the ESL One Malaysia and the TI qualifiers. The duo became players in Alliance in February after the team previously made major changes to its roster.? ?Jonathan Loda Berg, the CEO of Alliance, revealed that a major reason for the teams poor performance this season was the inability of the players to connect effectively, as the team chemistry continued to suffer.?
?With a poor season behind us in Div 1 we are making changes to the core of the Dota 2 team to better prepare for ESL and later TI qualifiers, he said.?
There is a lot that can be said, but the core issue in my eyes has been a lack of connection between the players on the team as well as us never being able to find and agree on our identity inside the game.? ?
Alliances other changes to its roster include bringing in Kirill Alagon Pavlik as the team’s new head coach. Alagon had previously coached HellRaisers and Rune Eaters Esports in 2019 and 2021, respectively.? ?The franchise hopes that the addition of two-time Dota 2 Champions League winner Limitless and 20-year-old Russian player Dukalis, alongside Alagon, will help improve results. Dukalis will take over CTOMAHEH1s previous position in the team as the in-game leader for the fast-approaching ESL One Malaysia 2022 tournament.? ?
With the rest of the team, which includes Nikolay Nikobaby Nikolov, Aliwi w33 Omar, and Adam Aramis Moroz, Alliance looks forward to having a shot at improving its record from the disheartening 2021-22 DPC run.? ?While the team was not among the 12 directly qualified through the Dota Pro Circuit points to join The International 11, Alliance still has a chance to participate.
?The WEU qualifiers is currently the only way the team can get into TI 11, but the franchise would need to compete against more prominent teams like Nigma Galaxy, Team Secret, and several others for an opportunity.

TEAM SECRET vs TUNDRA ESPORTS Dota 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Dota 2 Betting Odds: | Secret $1.17 at GG Bet | Tundra $4.66 at GG Bet |
When: | April 24, 2021 at 18:00 CEST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/dreamleague) |
?Team Secret enter this match off a 2-1 victory against Hellbear Smashers, who Tundra Esports beat with the same score just over a week ago. While it isn’t fair to put the two teams on a par based on those results alone, there is no denying that Secret havent been too sharp recently.
As mentioned in our previous Dota 2 betting previews, Secret aren’t playing as well as they perhaps should be, which could see them lose against weaker sides. Still, we don’t feel comfortable betting on the outsiders at the offered price.
At higher odds, picking Tundra to win one map would make sense. But at $1.63, siding with Secret to win 2-0 is a smarter choice. This is still one of the most stacked Dota 2 rosters in Europe.
ALLIANCE vs TEAM NIGMA Dota 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | Alliance $2.17 at GG Bet | Nigma $1.64 at GG Bet |
When: | April 24, 2021 at 21:00 CEST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/dreamleague) |
?Alliance have met with Team Nigma 10 times since 2019 and won only three series. Gustav “s4” Magnusson and co. last won this matchup way back in May 2020, but they have since lost seven in a row with an aggregate score of 6-15 maps.
To make matters worse for Alliance, Team Nigma seem to be in good form having beaten Team Secret 2-0 in the DreamLeague opener. That said, Alliance haven’t been playing too poorly either, with 2-1 victories against Team Liquid and OG thus far.
The Dota 2 betting odds on Alliance are a bit inflated, likely because they historically struggle against Team Nigma, but they’re playing much better of late. Alliance have suffered only one loss in their last seven, and that sole defeat came against the Chinese juggernauts PSG.LGD.
We don’t expect a one-sided affair, but we have to take Alliance to win. A 2-1 victory for the outsiders is something we can imagine happening, and that should be an appealing pick to those looking for spicier odds.
TEAM SECRET vs HELLBEAR SMASHERS Dota 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | Secret $1.07 at GG Bet | Smashers $7.37 at GG Bet |
When: | April 20, 2021 at 18:00 CEST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/dreamleague) |
?Team Secret suffered a shock 0-2 loss against Team Nigma on Thursday to make it three defeats in their last four outings. To put that into perspective, Secret have lost almost half as many games in the last week as they did from January to October last year.
Hellbear Smashers haven’t achieved anything of note since January, but that doesn’t mean they should be priced as high as $7.37 here. Not only have Secret looked very shaky of late, Smashers also field former Secret carry Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard, which should help them in forging the right strategy.
A win for Hellbear Smashers doesn’t seem likely, but we’re ready to take a shot on the outsiders to win at least one map.
ALLIANCE vs OG Dota 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | Alliance $2.46 at GG Bet | OG $1.51 at GG Bet |
When: | April 20, 2021 at 21:00 CEST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/dreamleague) |
?Alliance’s sole match at DreamLeague Season 15 to date happened last Wednesday when they reverse swept Team Liquid to improve their head-to-head record to 2-1-0. That was their first decent showing in a while, having ended the ONE Esports Singapore Major with three losses and four draws.
OG demolished Brame 2-0 in the tournament opener, largely thanks to the performances of returning superstar Anathan “ana” Pham. He ended the series with a combined score of 26/4/19, emerging as OG’s best player.
OG look like a completely different team with ana on the roster, but punters must not overreact to a victory against a weak team such as Brame. OG still have some fundamental issues to work on, and until we see them perform well against Europe’s elite teams, we will continue to believe they can drop a map against Alliance.
HIGH COAST ESPORTS vs TEAM NIGMA DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | High Coast $4.16 at GG Bet | Nigma $1.21 at GG Bet |
When: | February 23, 2021 at 17:55 CET |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/dreamleague) |
?High Coast Esports have already been eliminated from the top division, and it would be hard to argue they don’t deserve it. Their only win in six outings this season came against Vikin.gg, who are also guaranteed to drop down next term.
Team Nigma are tied with OG and Team Liquid with three wins and three losses, which means they need to win here to guarantee a top-four finish. Otherwise their playoff chances will hinge on whether OG get swept by Team Secret on Wednesday.
We rarely bet on Nigma to win 2-0 since they can be very unpredictable, but they’re also known to step up when it matters. HCE are just not good enough to compete in this division, which is why we have to taken the favourites to cover the map line.
ALLIANCE vs TEAM LIQUID DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | Alliance $2.02 at GG Bet | Liquid $1.74 at GG Bet |
When: | February 23, 2021 at 20:55 CET |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/dreamleague) |
?A win here would secure Alliance direct promotion to the group stage of ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021, whereas a 0-2 loss would see Team Liquid take their place. This is the most important match of the tournament for both sides, and it’s also their final match of the event.
These teams last met way back in November 2020, when Team Liquid won 2-0. That marked their sixth head-to-head victory of the year and their fourth across the last five meetings dating back to May 2020. One thing worth mentioning is that these clashes are usually very one-sided; all of their last six ended in clean sweeps, going 4-2 in favour of Liquid.
Momentum plays a crucial factor when these squads meet, and we don’t believe that will change here. It’s also important to note that if Alliance win the first map, Liquid have nothing more to fight for, whereas Liquid have proven to be very efficient in closing out games where they grab an early lead.
Riot Games have announced the addition of a new hero in their flagship game, League of Legends. The mage marks the 152nd character added to the popular game. The company teased the release of the support hero on their Instagram page, posting pictures along with a cover song.
The champion, called Seraphine, comes after a collaboration with the Korean pop group K/DA after their performance at the 2020 LoL World Championship. Seraphine mainly works alongside Melody, encouraging teammates with her skills. She will help allies apply shields as well as casting a healing effect.
The new champion comes in two different visual styles and appears in the latest 10.22 patch release. Only time will tell whether Seraphine becomes a staple hero in League of Legends esports contests.
The Electronic Sports League recently announced the addition of Valorant to the 2021 ESL calendar in Thailand. This comes after the organization became a partner of Riot Games for Southeast Asia.
Official tournaments will begin in 2021, allowing professional teams to fight for the countrys top spot. Whats more, the first ESL Thailand Championship season set to begin on November 23, 2020.
Predator, the gaming hardware supplier, recently announced a Call of Duty: Warzone tournament with a prize of R20,000. The competition series comes from the collaboration between the African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) and Predator.
Fans of the popular shooter can expect an eight-week tournament to start on October 21, with qualifying taking place on Wednesdays. Each week teams will compete for a prize pool of R2,000, with finals held every Friday. Included in the roster are four streamer squads invited by the tournament organizers.
Registration for the competition is free, allowing anyone to showcase their skills. Players can join the ACGL discord server for more details and keep up with the latest news. Theres no indication from the organizers if South African betting sites will also cover the event.
Alliance, the Swedish esports firm, have extended their partnership with Razer Gaming, becoming the global ambassadors for the manufacturers latest gaming chair. This news comes after the two companies reunited in March 2020.
Alliance’s Chief Strategy Officer, Kelly Ong, said the team had been looking for a gaming chair manufacturer for the last two years. Finally, they found an opportunity after Razer released their latest peripheral product – the Iskur gaming chair.
The partnership will help both companies and while giving esports athletes a chair that supports them during their long hours of competing.
Some exciting news comes after the Global Esports Federation announced that they had teamed up with Sports Innovation Lab. The research and technology company will now become a global supporter of the GEF.
SIL have wired alongside brands like the NFL and NBA to provide data to help create a more engaging experience for the fans. They will develop GEFs portfolio, using their knowledge to improve events and tournaments dramatically.
This news comes a few weeks after game developers like Sega and Capcom also joined the GEF. These acquisitions and partnerships will undoubtedly help the GEFs impact on the esports industry, benefiting both fans and athletes.
After a turbulent few years, the Oceanic Pro League will no longer operate, closing its offices in Sydney. Unfortunately, this is due to the OPL not managing to support pro players in the region entirely.
The update is not all doom and gloom, as players can expect a fresh start in 2021. Oceanic esports athletes will have the opportunity enter the North American market instead of filling an import slot on event rosters.
Teams from Australia and New Zealand can expect qualifying tournaments for both LoL Worlds and MSI in 2021, allowing athletes a chance at representing their respective countries on the big stage.
