Atlanta FaZe are heavily favoured to defeat Minnesota R?KKR with the best Call of Duty betting sites. At these numbers, however, it is fair to explore options to back R?KKR to walk away with something.

There is a map pool overlap between these two teams, which plays into Cloud9’s hands. They are much better on Royal Ravens’ weakest maps and only slightly worse on Ravens’ best maps.

A small play on C9NY to win with two maps to spare at $2.90 is worth considering, but the head-to-head market offers the safer bet.

Los Angeles Thieves lost to Boston Breach the last time they met in the third match of CDL 2025 Stage 1 Major Qualifiers. Thieves have since improved massively and are 6-2 from their last eight, with just two close losses against Atlanta FaZe in Major 1.

Since finding traction, Thieves have been cruising and have shown no issues running over any team besides the leading title contenders, Atlanta FaZe. On the other side, Boston Breach are on a three-game losing streak and have managed just two uninspiring wins — against Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 and Vegas Falcons — since their last meeting with LA Thieves.

Anything less than a dominant victory for the short-priced favourites would be a major disappointment.

The addition of Amer “Pred” Zulbeari at the start of February has not helped OpTic Texas improve. In fact, it seems to have worked the other way, as the defending CDL champions have managed just one win from five games.

OpTic are 0-3 ahead of CDL 2025 Stage 2 Major Qualifiers Week 3, but Miami Heretics have not looked that good either. Their 1-2 record includes a 3-0 sweep of Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 and losses against Atlanta FaZe and the Guerrillas in a rematch in CDL 2025 Minor 2.

Miami Heretics have already beaten OpTic in CDL 2025 Major 1, but that is not the main reason to take their side. It’s OpTic Texas’ abysmal form that makes it tough to make a case for them at a shorter price.

Boston Breach have been very up-and-down this season, and they lost both of their matches last weekend. While the Breach forced Ultra to five maps, they looked toothless against Cloud9 New York, highlighting just how inconsistent they can be.

Things will not get any easier for Boston on Friday. The Vancouver Surge are on a three-game winning streak after beating Atlanta FaZe, Cloud9 New York, and LA Guerrillas M8, although they have shown some weaknesses through that run — namely on Protocol and Search & Destroy.

Nevertheless, Jovan “04” Rodriguez and co. are in great form, and while they have some cracks, Boston Breach are not good enough to exploit them.

Vegas Falcons have yet to taste victory this season, and it is hard to imagine that changing anytime soon. Priced as $8.00 underdogs with the top CoD betting sites, Vegas Falcons are expected to struggle against OpTic Texas.

That said, OpTic enter the CDL 2025 Stage 2 Minor on a four-game losing streak, which includes two 0-3 losses against Minnesota R?KKR and Carolina Royal Ravens last weekend. As much as it is hard to doubt this lineup of players, it is concerning that OpTic have yet to win a map this stage.

This is more of a bet against OpTic Texas than anything else. At $1.67, Vegas Falcons to steal a map is a generous offer.

Minnesota R?KKR have also done some good things lately, with 3-0 wins against Miami Heretics, OpTic Texas, and Vegas Falcons. Their respawns need some work, but the R?KKR are very good on Search & Destroy, which could be a big factor in Friday’s affair.

Cloud9 New York’s recent resurgence is promising, but Justice “Estreal” McMillan and co. have been more consistent and are a better S&D team. At outsider odds, Minnesota R?KKR are hard to pass on.

Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 lost to Miami Heretics and Vancouver Surge last weekend. Despite the arrival of Noah “Lunarz” Whillock, the Guerrillas failed to show any improvement — especially on Search & Destroy, which is by far their worst game mode.

Even on a lot of respawn maps, Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 do not seem to be on the same page, suggesting there are deeper issues that a single roster change will not fix.

Miami Heretics ran over Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 last Friday, and while they have not been very consistent this season, it is hard to doubt their chances to defeat LAGM8 again.

Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 and Boston Breach have shown some good things this season, although both have yet to find the needed stability to make something happen.

The Guerrillas have to improve their Search & Destroy, as three of their last four losses have come on game five — including a very competitive defeat against OpTic Texas during CDL 2025 Stage 1 Major. The Breach are in a similar spot after they were eliminated from the Major by Cloud9 New York, who are not that good on S&D.

On top of shaky S&D, Boston also struggle on Control, where they are 3-7. But their biggest issue is a weak map pool across all game modes.

This looks as close to a coin-flip as it can get. We prefer LA Guerrillas M8 at outsider odds.

Miami Heretics finished top three at CDL 2025 Stage 1 Major, which is an impressive feat. They are a good Hardpoint team (10-8), but their Search & Destroy (7-9) is lacking and Control (2-8) needs some work too.

The Heretics overperformed at the last Major, and while the Miami side might keep posting good results, the R?KKR are a very good online team with a better win rate on both Search & Destroy and Control.

Atlanta FaZe won CDL 2025 Minor 1 and Major 1, and there is little to suggest they can’t add two more trophies in the second stage. OpTic Texas, on the other side, have not been nearly as successful this season.

This will be the first official match between OpTic and FaZe of 2025, and the Texas team’s first match since the return of Amer “Pred” Zulbeari. Pred should help OpTic, but he will need time to be fully integrated into the new roster.

FaZe were the better team last year because they had a better map pool on Hardpoint and were a much better Control team. The same reasons apply this season, as FaZe lead on Hardpoint (71.4% v 58.8%), Search & Destroy (82.4% v 57.1%), and Control (61.5% v 55.6%).

Cloud9 New York were eliminated from CDL 2025 Stage 1 Major in the second round by Minnesota R?KKR. While that result was disappointing, it was nowhere near as underwhelming as Toronto Ultra’s elimination in the lower-bracket quarterfinals.

Toronto Ultra are very inconsistent, but Cloud9 New York have their own issues — mainly map pool. C9NY are not great on Hardpoint, have just one Search & Destroy map (Skyline) they look comfortable on, and can be hit-or-miss on Control.

This can easily extend to game five, in which case Toronto Ultra should be able to close it out. But at the offered betting odds, taking over 4.5 maps makes more sense.

Despite their recent struggles and underwhelming performances across all game modes, namely Hardpoint, the top CoD betting sites have Los Angeles Thieves priced as favourites to defeat Boston Breach. There are reasons to believe Boston Breach can push them to their limits.

Boston Breach have a much deeper map pool on Hardpoint, and they are pretty effective on Red Card (66.7% win rate), which is LA Thieves’ best map. Search & Destroy looks like a coin flip as neither team has a deep map pool, and you can give LA Thieves a slight edge on Control.

If we go off statistics alone, Los Angeles Thieves are the better team, but only marginally. And considering how shaky they’ve looked recently, this match is closer to a coin flip than what the odds suggest.

Atlanta FaZe will face off against Cloud9 New York for the first time in the 2025 CDL season in what should be a very straightforward match.

Cloud9 have not been playing well and do not seem to excel in anything. They are decent, but nothing more than that—and that will not be enough to derail the surging FaZe.

With the players on this roster, some improvement is to be expected. But ahead of this match, it is hard to make a case for Cloud9 New York as a serious threat for FaZe, who should not be dropping more than one map.

Toronto Ultra have a perfect record in CDL 2025 Stage 1 Major Qualifiers, with a +10 map differential. OpTic Texas are close behind, with a 5-1 series record and +8 differential.

Besides posting similar results, the two teams also have similar map pools. OpTic are slightly better than Ultra on Hardpoint with an 11-5 record to Ultra’s 8-5, whereas Tobias “CleanX” J?nsson and co. have a better win rate on Search & Destroy (81.2%) than OpTic Texas (57.1%).

While Toronto Ultra should win Search & Destroy, they are unlikely to take Control off OpTic unless we see Protocol. As a better team on respawns, OpTic are deserving favourites, but there is a good chance this goes to game five, in which case Ultra should close it out.

Vancouver Surge exited CDL 2025 Minor 1 in the first round with a 0-3 loss against Cloud9 New York. This brings Surge’s 2025 season record to 1-4, with just one victory from the three CDL 2025 Stage 1 Major Qualifier fixtures.

Desperate to get back on track, Surge will resume their qualifier campaign with an easy match as they face the struggling Vegas Falcons. The Saudi team had their moment at Minor 1, where they nearly took a map off OpTic Texas; however, despite their small flash of greatness, the Falcons have a lot more to prove.

Vancouver Surge need this win, but they have not been playing well. So, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that the Falcons pull out an upset.
A smaller position on the underdogs at the offered betting odds is worth a look.

Cloud9 New York reached the second round of CDL 2025 Minor 1, where they lost to the surging Carolina Royal Ravens in a closely contested five-map game. While not the result C9NY were looking for, they have been improving since the rough start of the 2025 season.

Miami Heretics crashed out of the tournament in the first round with a 1-3 loss against Atlanta FaZe. They are now 1-4 with just one victory against the Vegas Falcons, although the three losses all went the distance.

Boston Breach have shown enough to believe they can stand up against any team, but the Royal Ravens should be a bit too much for them to handle.

R?KKR are punching well above their weight, for which they deserve respect, but it is fair to question how long they will manage to play at this level.

After getting reverse-swept by their rivals, Toronto Ultra are priced as favourites to get their revenge against R?KKR on Friday. And while Ultra should be the better team, R?KKR are currently playing better Call of Duty.

Atlanta FaZe have a higher ceiling, but they did not look good enough last month to justify taking their side at these odds.

Cloud9 New York are 1-3 this season, with losses against Los Angeles Thieves, OpTic Texas, and Carolina Royal Ravens. Despite the poor record, NYC9 nearly swept the Royal Ravens, and they played a good game against Minnesota R?KKR, indicating that Kyle “Kremp” Haworth and co. have a lot more to show.

A big issue with Cloud9 New York is the poor form of Dillon “Attach” Price and Daunte “Sib” Gray, who have a 0.81 and 0.73 K/D, respectively.

Vancouver Surge lost two map-five games in the CDL 2025 Stage 1 Major Qualifiers against Toronto Ultra and Boston Breach. They were smoked by OpTic Texas and edged out a win against Miami Heretics. While this is not the most inspiring start to the season, Surge looks a bit stabler than Cloud9 New York.

If both teams play at their best, Cloud9 New York should come out ahead. However, until we see more from Attach and Sib, C9 are a good bet at the offered price with CoD betting sites.
