It’s been a long time coming, but we finally had a couple of opportunities to see the new Cloud9 CS: GO roster in action. To say that fans across the globe were disappointed is an understatement.
They failed to win a single map against Virtus.pro in their debut performance at FLASHPOINT 2, causing some major upsets across US esports betting sites. Hopes were high as they prepared to face OG in their second showing, but once again they fell flat, leaving fans very disappointed.
They’ll have to go back to the drawing board as they prepare for their upcoming matches against FURIA, Team Liquid, and FaZe Clan.
As this bizarre year draws toward a close, the 2021 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) is now just around the corner. While the majority of teams are training and finalizing their rosters, KT Rolster have other plans.
They broke the news via Facebook that seven of their players are moving on from the organization. Kim “SoHwan” Jun-yeong, Song “Smeb” Kyung-ho, Kim “BonO” Gi-beom, and Lee “Kuro” Seo-haen are just a few of the members that will be looking for new teams.
The news isn’t a shock, as they have been subpar throughout the year after experimenting with players and various positions. We’ll be keeping tabs on their rebuild and monitoring how LoL betting sites tweak their odds.
We’re closing in on the final match of the ESEA Season 35: Open Division playoffs in South Africa. With no surprises, ATK Arena breezed through their semifinal against ex-Online Kingdom as predicted across CS: GO betting sites in Africa.
ATK will face Energy Esports in the finals on November 19th. Energy started their semifinal match with a 17-19 loss on Dust II. However, they turned the tables in their favor, defeating DNMK 16-11 on Vertigo and 16-1 on Inferno.
With many teams having already secured their rosters for the upcoming 2021 League of Legends European Championship (LEC) season, Schalke 04 recently completed two new signings. They were fortunate enough to land two promising players, which should enhance their odds across League of Legends betting sites.
The first signing is Sergen “Broken Blade” ?elik, who returns to Europe after his stint at Team SoloMid, where he formed part of their LoL World Championship roster. Schalke also welcomed Dino “LIMIT” Tot from SK Gaming, where he proved himself to be an exceptionally valuable asset.
FURIA’s CS: GO first team are heading for a bootcamp in Serbia, and their academy captain will join them. Leonardo “?zmb?” Toledo has received the invitation as an internship of sorts, where he will have an opportunity to play with the organization’s stars.
He has already shown his dedication, hard work, and leadership skills as the captain in domestic tournaments. Among his most impressive feats was leading the FURIA Academy to a victory at the Logitech G Challenge, where they were the favorites across Brazilian esports bookmakers.
The semifinals of the ESEA Season 35 Open produced two thrillers. Downfall Gaming narrowly defeated Team Fenrir on the first map and barely took the win in the second map too.
During the second semifinal, Control Esports maintained control to emerge victorious against Sylyx. We have a couple of days of anticipation now as we await the grand final on November 19th. Keep an eye on our listed Australian esports bookmakers to stay updated with the match odds and predictions.

TEAM EMPIRE vs NEMIGA GAMING DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | Empire $2.00 at GG Bet | Nemiga $1.72 at GG Bet |
When: | November 18, 2020 at 13:00 CET |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/team/epicenter) |
These teams met twice during the EPIC League qualifiers, where Nemiga Gaming won the opening series with 2-1 but lost the rematch with 0-2. The only other meeting between Nemiga and Team Empire in 2020 happened in July during Arena of Blood S2, with Empire winning 2-1.
Since their most recent clash, Nemiga have played five games and lost all but one, including four consecutive defeats. Empire have played only two games in that time, losing to Tempo Esports (0-2) and beating Cyberium (2-1).
Empire’s lack of playtime makes it hard to believe they can win, but we are equally sceptical about Nemiga’s chances due to their poor form. This match seems like it can go either way, but we don’t expect to see a clean sweep.
5MEN vs LIVE TO WIN DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | 5men $2.94 at GG Bet | LtW $1.37 at GG Bet |
When: | November 18, 2020 at 16:00 CET |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/team/epicenter) |
The only previous meeting between these teams took place at the EPIC League qualifiers, where Live to Win won 2-0. The match was very one-sided, and since it was played just over a week ago, it’s hard to believe 5men can turn things around on Wednesday.
5men are still a fairly solid team on paper, but until they show some sort of improvement, we don’t see how they can win one map against Live to Win, let alone the whole series.
NINJAS IN PYJAMAS vs YELLOW SUBMARINE DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | NiP $2.25 at GG Bet | YeS $1.80 at GG Bet |
When: | November 18, 2020 at 19:00 CET |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/team/epicenter) |
Yellow Submarine have already beaten Ninjas in Pyjamas twice this year, which includes a 2-0 sweep during the EPIC League qualifiers two weekends ago. Yellow Submarine have played seven games since then and lost only three, going down to mudgolems (0-2 and 1-3) and Just Error (1-3), but they’ve also won both of their last two against Cyberium and Nemiga Gaming.
The online format has made NiP a very inconsistent team, which won’t do them any favours against the in-form Yellow Submarine. There is a world where YeS secure another 2-0 sweep, but we will play it safe and settle for an outright bet.
PSG.LGD vs VICI GAMING DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | PSG $1.54 at GG Bet | Vici $2.34 at GG Bet |
When: | November 18, 2020 at 20:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Twitch, Youtube |
The esports bookmakers have PSG.LGD priced as heavy favourites for this fixture. They are 10-6 up in the head-to-head matches with ViCi Gaming, and 4-1 in the last five. However, it was ViCi who came out victorious (3-2) the last time they met with PSG.LGD, back in October.
Since that loss, PSG.LGD have gone on a nine-game winning streak while losing only three maps out of 24 played. ViCi, meanwhile, have played only three games but won all of them, dropping only one map in the process.
Despite ViCi’s lack of playtime, they’re still in great form. They took at least one map off PSG.LGD in two of the last three meetings, and there is no reason to believe they can’t do it again.
TEAM ONE vs NEW ENGLAND WHALERS CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
CS:GO Betting Odds: | oNe $1.22 at GG Bet | Whalers $3.96 at GG Bet |
When: | November 18, 2020 at 15:00 PDT |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ESEA) |
Team oNe and the New England Whalers last met in the ESEA upper-bracket finals, where the Brazilian side won 2-0 with 22-19 on Train and 16-9 on Inferno. The Whalers have 4-4 since then, but they’ve only beaten semi-pro teams such as Secret Club, Horny Homies and Michigan Tech Huskies.
Even though these online low-tier CS:GO matches are often a coin-toss, we have serious doubts about the Whalers. They enter this match off a 2-16 loss to a semi-pro team in Big Chillin, which is a huge red flag and the main reason why we are siding with oNe to win the finals 3-0.
TEAM MAGMA vs GALAXY RACER DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | MagMa $1.40 at GG Bet | GXR $2.77 at GG Bet |
When: | October 30, 2020 at 19:00 CST |
Watch Live: | YouTube |
Team MagMa recently attended the CDA-FDC Professional Championship, where they lost their group stage matches against Royal Never Give Up (1-2), EHOME (0-2) and Elephant.4AM (0-2) to finish in last place. With those losses, MagMa have gone 4-2-4 across the last two weeks.
Galaxy Racer have put together a similar 4-3-3 record across the last 14 days. Their most notable results include a stalemate with BOOM Esports and a 2-0 sweep of Adroit this Wednesday.
MagMa last met with Galaxy Racer four days ago during the Moon Studio Mid-Autumn League, where they won 2-1. The match was very close for the most part and seemed like it could easily end in Galaxy Racer’s favour, so there is value in siding with the outsiders to avenge their loss on Friday.
TEAM BRASIL vs SPIRITS ESPORTS DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | Brasil $1.67 at GG Bet | Draw $2.63 | Spirits $8.22 |
When: | October 30, 2020 at 17:00 BRT |
Watch Live: | YouTube |
Despite their relative success against Plasma1337x (2-0) and Thunder Predator (1-1), Team Brasil struggled to show up against catJAMMERS (0-2) and Infamous (0-2). Spirits Esports have looked even worse, dropping all but one of their games.
These teams have never met before, but we don’t need the head-to-head record to know which of the two is the most likely victor. Brasil might not be a top-tier team, but they have at least put together a few solid showings, whereas Spirits are without a win in their last seven games.
TEAM ZERO vs INFAMOUS DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | Zero $4.02 at GG Bet | Draw $2.05 | Infamous $2.76 |
When: | October 30, 2020 at 23:00 BRT |
Watch Live: | YouTube |
Team Zero and Infamous share the same 2-1-1 record in this tournament. Infamous looked decent in their win over the current frontrunners, catJAMMERS, but we should not underestimate Team Zero’s win over beastcoast or their stalemate against 4Zoomers.
What catches our attention here is the surprisingly long odds on Team Zero. While their results are far from perfect, they field a stacked roster with former Cloud9, business associates and Geek Fam players including Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao and Braxton “Brax” Paulson.
We might see a draw, but at $4.02, we will gladly take our chances with EternaLEnVy and his crew.
PSG.LGD vs ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | PSG.LGD $1.17 at GG Bet | RNG $4.56 at GG Bet |
When: | October 30, 2020 at 17:00 CST |
Watch Live: | YouTube |
Out of 15 head-to-head bouts with Royal Never Give Up this year, PSG.LGD have won 10 series and 31 games (31-18). That record includes victories in each of the last four meetings, where they put together an impressive 8-2 map differential.
Although RNG and PSG.LGD usually produce close fixtures, we don’t believe that will be the case here. Not only have PSG.LGD been playing much better Dota 2 of late, but RNG also looked very shaky in the group stage with their loss to EHOME (0-2) and their narrow win over MagMa (2-1).
There is a world where RNG impress and steal one map off PSG.LGD, but they have not shown enough in this competition to suggest they can cover the map line in this one.
RUSSIAN CANADIANS vs REBIRTH ESPORTS CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
CS:GO Betting Odds: | RusCan $1.40 at GG Bet | Rebirth $2.77 at GG Bet |
When: | October 30, 2020 at 16:00 PDT |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ESEA) |
Russian Canadians are 2-3 in their last five games. That record includes wins against ImPerium (22-20) and ex-Polar Ace (16-1), as well as three losses against Depth (13-16), Springroll (8-16) and Third Impact (21-25).
Rebirth Esports have shown similar form with losses to Rugratz (12-16), Mythic (14-16) and New England Whalers (7-16), and two wins against Morning Light (2-0) and ImPerium (16-11).
Picking a winner is difficult since these low-tier NA CS:GO teams usually make plenty of mistakes and drop rounds they should win. This, combined with the fact that both Russian Canadians and Rebirth played over 25 rounds in 60% out of their last five series, makes the overs on total rounds very appealing.
Illinois State University will take on TBA for the League of Legends UPL 2020 Fall competition on October 28. The two teams will meet on the battlefield in an epic best-of-three matchup.
TBA seem to have the upper hand in the head-to-head stakes, as they won the last meeting 2-0. ISU lead the Cloud Group standings with nine points, winning three of their five games.
TBA trail the group leaders by three points and currently hold the second position on the table. They’ve only played three matches so far, winning two and losing one.
Chinese esports organization Xi’an are getting ready to face Team Zero at the CS: GO Streamer Carnival S2 on October 28. The two sides will battle it out in a best-of-three match, with Counter-Strike betting sites picking Xi’an as the favorites.
Team Zero have lost the last three games played against Xi’an. They currently sit in fifth place on the group table with only two points. On the other hand, Xi’an could move into first position with a win, as they sit one point behind leaders LQ with four points.
The third round of qualifiers for the EPS Fortnite Predator Solo Cup will go ahead this weekend. The competition’s organizers, Goliath Gaming and Predator Gaming, plan to host the match on October 30. Registration is free.
Some 50 players have already acquired a place in the finals, which will occur at the rAge event coming up on November 8. Each qualifying round allows for only 100 spots, and players must place in the top 25 to continue to the next stage.
As the African esports calendar starts to heat up, players look forward to this year’s Fortnite esports competition with a prize pool of R2,500.
The Malta-based gambling company known as the Esports Entertainment Group (EEG) recently signed a letter of intent for the buyout of Helix eSport and ggCircuit. The firm announced that the deal should go ahead before the year ends.
The US $43 million venture sees EEG acquire both organizations’ strong network ties in the gaming industry. It also takes over Helix’s player-vs-player esports betting platform, LANduel. The acquisition marks EEG’s most significant piece of business for the year.
It looks like a battle between North and South America as Team Brazil face Team Zero for their next match at the Dota Summit Online 13: Americas tournament. Meeting in a best-of-two fixture, the Brazilians must find their form as they continue to fall down the standings.
Now in eighth position, the South American team have only managed to win one of their three matches, acquiring two points. Team Zero haven’t performed much better, winning one of their three games and drawing a game, leaving them with three points.
The last time these organizations met resulted in a 1-1 draw at the BTS Pro Series, leaving punters and Dota 2 betting sites unsure which way the fixture might go. Both teams desperately need a win, and we can expect an action-packed encounter from start to finish.
Australian esports organization Paradox Gaming are looking forward to their next fixture against fellow countrymen Lese Esports. The two will lock heads in the ESEA MDL Premier S35 CS:GO competition.
Paradox Gaming are the firm favorites, with Australian esports betting sites giving them odds of $1.19 to win. They have 11 victories under their belt after playing 14 fixtures. In comparison, Lese have lost 10 of their 15 matches.
Paradox have their eyes set on making the playoffs and will undoubtedly bring their A-game, even if facing a sub-par team. As long as they start the CS: GO rounds strong, they shouldn’t have any trouble adding to their already impressive series tally.

FATE vs NORDAVIND CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
CS:GO Betting Odds: | FATE $1.78 at GG Bet | Nordavind $1.95 at GG Bet |
When: | September 24, 2020 at 18:15 CEST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ESEA) |
?FATE had a slow start of their ESEA MDL campaign with losses against HellRaisers (8-16) and Team GamerLegion (14-16), but they looked much better last Thursday when Nikolay “niki1” Pantaleev and co. demolished forZe 16-5.
Nordavind’s only fixture this tournament took place earlier this month when they lost 10-16 against SKADE. Since then they have played six games and won only two – a 2-1 revenge win against SKADE at Nine to Five #4 and a narrow 2-1 win against AGF. Although both decent results, we can’t look past Nordavind’s losses against Winstrike (0-2), Team Secret (1-2), AVEZ (0-2), and AGF (0-2).
These teams last met just over a month ago during Eden Arena Malta Vibes Week 7, where Noradvind won 2-1. Since then Kevin “HS” Tarn and co. have lost 10 out of 13 games, which makes it clear Nordavind are in no kind of form to repeat the feat against FATE this Thursday.
SAW VS TEAM SINGULARITY CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
CS:GO Betting Odds: | sAw $1.47 at GG Bet | Singularity $2.54 at GG Bet |
When: | September 24, 2020 at 19:15 CEST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ESEA) |
?Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes and the sAw crew began their journey through the ESEA MDL with an 11-16 loss to SKADE, to which they added a 16-12 win against Galaxy Racers and a painful 12-16 loss to Sprout.
Team Singularity are 1-1 with a 7-16 loss to SKADE and a 16-11 win against Galaxy Racers. They have also played games at the DreamHack Open Fall 2020 Open Qualifier and Legend Series Season 6, where they left a lot to be desired. The only noteworthy result Anton “notaN” Pedersen and co. from in those events was a three-map loss to the crumbling MiBR.
Since their roster changes, Singularity have become very inconsistent. While they can have their flashes of greatness, they are not a team we would trust our money with.
SPROUT vs DIVIZION CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
CS:GO Betting Odds: | Sprout $1.03 at GG Bet | DIVIZON $10.00 at GG Bet |
When: | September 24, 2020 at 19:15 CEST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/99damage) |
The latest CS:GO betting odds suggest DIVIZON have little to no chance of defeating Sprout, and there are not many arguments to be made against that. Even though these two sides are competing in the same tournament, there is a huge gulf in class between them.
To put it into perspective, Sprout are the reigning ESEA Season 34 Premier Division Europe champions and sit 16th in the CS:GO world rankings. On the other hand, DIVIZON are an unranked team comprised of amateur players with no previous experience playing at a high level.
With all due respect, DIVIZON shouldn’t come anywhere near double digits in this bout. Even if Timo “Spiidi” Richter and co. don’t approach this game as seriously as they could, it should be a walk in the park.
SHARKS ESPORTS vs ISURUS CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
CS:GO Betting Odds: | Sharks $1.56 at GG Bet | Isurus $2.31 at GG Bet |
When: | September 23, 2020 at 17:30 BRT |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/esl_csgo) |
Isurus will enter this match with a slightly changed roster featuring former x6tence AWPer Jonathan “JonY BoY” Mu?oz as a replacement for Gabriel “1962” Sinopoli, who was moved to the bench last Thursday. Coming into an important tournament, that switch is bound to harm the team’s synergy. Also worrying is the form of JonY BoY, who has averaged a poor 0.78 rating across the last three months.
These teams met last Monday during CLUTCH Season 3, where Sharks Esports secured a comfortable 16-10 win. Sharks are also on a seven-game winning streak and have lost only one match in their last 12, while Isurus are 2-3 from their last five and 6-6 from their last 12.
HELLRAISERS vs TEAM GAMERLEGION CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
CS:GO Betting Odds: | HR $1.58 at GG Bet | GL $2.26 at GG Bet |
When: | September 23, 2020 at 18:15 CEST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ESEA) |
HellRaisers got off to a strong start at the ESEA MDL, where they defeated Nexus (16-13), Galaxy Racers (16-13) and ENDPOINT (16-11) but lost to Sprout (9-16). Team GamerLegion saw similar success with a convincing 16-8 win over ENDPOINT and a 16-14 triumph against FATE, but they struggled against Galaxy Racers (14-16) and ALTERNATE aTTaX (13-16).
The record suggests HellRaisers have proved to be slightly more efficient than GamerLegion, but it’s somewhat shocking to see Alfred “RuStY” Karlsson and co. priced at such high odds. HellRaisers have not shown any significant improvement since GamerLegion defeated them twice at Good Game League 2019, so there is value in siding with the underdogs in this one.
FNATIC vs NEON ESPORTS DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | Fnatic $3.83 at GG Bet | Draw $2.01 | Neon $2.94 |
When: | September 23, 2020 at 14:00 SGT |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/beyondthesummit) |
Fnatic are looking worse than ever and seem set to end their BTS Pro Series endeavour without a single win. Their best chance to save themselves from humiliation will come this Wednesday when they face Neon Esports, although Prieme Ejay “PlayHard” Banquil and co. have not looked too shabby and hold a 2-4-2 record.
These teams last met just under three weeks ago during ESL One Thailand 2020 Asia. Fnatic won 2-0 on that occasion, but after seeing them settle for draws against Execration and 032, we have a hard time believing they can repeat that success. Neon forced Among Us to a stalemate on Monday, and a similar effort against Fnatic could be enough to secure the win.
BOOM ESPORTS vs AMONG US DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | BOOM $5.84 at GG Bet | Draw $2.34 | AU $2.00 |
When: | September 23, 2020 at 16:00 SGT |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/beyondthesummit) |
BOOM Esports and Among Us have emerged as two of the strongest teams in the BTS Pro Series, and as two biggest threats to TNC Predator in the title race. Still, we have to give Among Us an edge, since they have proven to be far more consistent.
Out of eight games played, Among Us have won all except their draw with the surging Neon Esports on Monday. BOOM have won five and drawn three, tying with TNC Predator, 496 Gaming and Motivate.Trust Gaming.
Betting on BOOM is an appealing option, but we still feel like Among Us are individually far too strong. A draw is a possibility, but the odds on the favourites are healthy enough.
OG vs ALLIANCE DOTA 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Dota 2 Betting Odds: | OG $1.54 at GG Bet | Alliance $2.38 at GG Bet |
When: | September 23, 2020 at 21:00 CEST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ogadotapit) |
These teams last clashed at the end of July during the second season of the OGA Dota PIT, where Alliance picked up a hard-fought 2-1 win. It marked their sixth meeting of the year and Alliance’s second triumph over OG since their 2-0 win at ESL One Birmingham 2020 in May.
Since their last meeting with OG, Alliance have played 10 games and won half of them, whereas OG have played nine games and won five. OG have faced tougher opposition, so it’s fair to rank their wins higher; however, both teams have been inactive for over two weeks, so it’s hard to say who’s in better form ahead of this bout.
Historically, OG and Alliance match up nicely. Even though three out of their last five meetings ended in clean sweeps, the ring rust these two sides have accumulated over the past two weeks should produce a much more open affair. OG are still the most likely victors, but we don’t believe they can avoid dropping a map.
