Kaipi will seek revenge against Pavaga Gaming in the g4L Challenge on Wednesday in what could be a malicious Dota 2 fight.
Kaipi lost to Pavaga Gaming 2-0 on November 20 in the MegaFon Championship League Season 1. That was the first time Kaipi and Pavaga Gaming played in the Dota 2 7.20 patch — they each had around 10 hours to analyse the patch and construct their draft strategy before the game started.

Although both teams did not draft very well in the two games they played, Pavaga Gaming was still better because Kaipi drafted a lot of buffed heroes but there were no combos from the draft.
Kaipi picked Brewmaster in game 1 however there was no fire element heroes to utilize the damage dealt to enemies.
In game 2, Kaipi drafted a lot of tier 3 heroes of this patch, such as Weaver and Mirana as their cores.
Kaipi’s bad draft was definitely one of reason that causes them the game.
Pavaga Gaming’s draft gotten better when they faced off against Team Spirit in Grands Finals of MegaFon Championship League Season 1 on 20 November, 2018. They drafted Magnus in game 2 and game 3. Securing Magnus in this latest patch is having a huge advantage because there are a lot of tier 1 and tier 2 melee carries in this meta, preventing enemies to ban out all of your carry heroes.
Anti Mage, Faceless Void, Phantom Assassin, Naga Siren and several melee carries can work well with Magnus thanks to Magnus’s ability- Empower that provides any melee heroes to have 74% cleave damage.
After running our eye through the drafting abilities in latest patch of both squads and their last head-to-head match-up, we give Pavaga Gaming a 40% chance to finish this best-of-two series match-up with 2-0.
Considering the odds, our recommendation is to go low and bet on Kaipi win at least 1 game at better than $1.36 at GG Bet.
]]>Hippomaniacs will seek revenge against Team Spirit when the two teams clash in the Dota 2 g4L Challenge on Wednesday.
Team Spirit eliminated Hippomaniacs in Round of 8 of the ESL One Katowice 2019 Europe Open Qualifier on November 25. In that match-up, Hippomaniacs drafted Faceless Void and Huskar, but their third core hero was a mistake — Tinker.

Tinker had to farm until he had the dagger until he could only join the team fight, while Faceless Void and Huskar both had to pressure enemies without Tinker in first 15 minutes of the game.
Huskar is a hero that is able to pressure the game in first 20 minutes while whole the squad supports him. Their greedy picks of Tinker and Huskar were getting crushed by Team Spirit.
In game 2, Team Spirit drafted the classic combo picks — IO and Gyrocopter. Hippomaniacs immediately reacted to that with pulling Winter Wyvern into their picks.
Winter Wyvern ultimate skill — Winter’s Curse — was able to counter IO, who always need to be tethered to someone. With Winter’s Curse casted on IO, IO became a liability.
Things did not go to plan for the Hippomaniacs. They were lacking synergy and under too much pressure when Gyrocopter had his Black King Bar at the 19-minute mark.
From their recent draft, we know Hippomaniacs are heavily dependent on Huskar. This should be an advantage for them because Huskar is not a strong tier 1 hero in this meta and opponents might just let them slip under the radar.
Team Spirit rely more on Dark Seer and Spirit Breaker. These picks are strong because Spirit Breaker has high impact in team fights when Dark Seer uses his abilities – Ion Shell and Surge.
However, we must always remember combo picks are very easy to get countered because banning one of the heroes is enough to tear down the strategy.
After analysing the drafting abilities of both squads, we give Hippomaniacs a 20 per cent chance to finish this best-of-three match 2-0.
Considering the odds, our suggestion is to go low on Hippomaniacs and bet on a Hippomaniacs 2-0 win at better than $8.50 at GG Bet.
]]>The nine teams that received direct invites into the tournament include, Nemiga Gaming, Team Empire Hope, Pavaga Gaming, Elements Pro Gaming, Kaipi, Team Spirit, Hippomaniacs, Unchained Esports and DreamEaters.
MEGA-LADA E-sports, KomPas.Gaming and Yellow Submarine fought their way into the main tournament through the Open Qualifier.
Looking at the form of the teams entering the tournament, it looks like an open field in which a number of teams will harbour hopes of winning it all.

Team Spirit, the runner-up of the MegaFon Champion League Season 1, eliminated Vega Squadron and Empire Faith in its last successful outing. The members of Team Spirit are renowned for their great individual skill. However, they lack synergy and drafting abilities to stand in line with other tier 1 teams.
Pavaga Gaming, the champion of the MegaFon Champion League Season 1, took down a lot of signature tier 2 teams such as Espada, Kaipi and took down Team Spirit in the Grand Final of the MegaFon Championship. Despite their win against Team Spirit and Kaipi 2 weeks ago, we believe Kaipi and Team Spirit still have a better chance to stand out here if they face Pavaga Gaming again.
Kaipi, featuring two of the most well-known players in the world — Bone7 and Pablo — are one of the teams that potentially stand out among other squads. Despite their disappointed performance of late, we believe they only need time to make their synergy better.
We believe punters should expect Team Spirit, Pavaga Gaming and Kaipi to be the top three teams in this tournament.
Element Pro Gaming might be one of the underdogs in this tournament. Lebron, the position 5 support player is a tier 2 support player. He needs a lot of improvement in expanding his heroes pool knowledge. Bane Element and Vengeful Spirit are his most used heroes in most of the professional matches he has played. Not only Lebron, Swiftending, the position one player from Element Pro Gaming is a well-known tier 2 player as well. Not only does he have a wide heroes’ pool knowledge, he has a good gaming sense in Dota 2 as well.
Hippomaniacs, one of rising teams on the Dota 2 circuit that stole 1 score from Team Secret on 28 November 2018 in Chongqing Major, is one the teams that that fought their way into Chongqing Major European Qualifier and none of their members are previously professional players, stealing 1 score from Team Secret and even took down Kaipi with 2-0 in Bucharest Minor European Open Qualifier is bright result that we should focus.
Hippomaniacs and Element Pro Gaming are the potential underdogs in upsetting this tournament.
