INVICTUS GAMING vs LNG ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Best Odds: | IG $4.50 at GG Bet | LNG $1.16 at GG Bet |
When: | July 5, 2022 | 17:00 CST |

?LNG Esports are a solid team and individually better than Invictus Gaming, but they’re not worth a bet at this price. Some may argue that LNG outclass IG in all roles, which might be the case, but they are (still) very sloppy around neutral objectives, which has caused them issues this split.
Last week, LNG Esports lost a map against LGD Gaming (2-1), who are arguably the worst team in the league. So considering Invictus Gaming are much stronger than LGD, it’s fair to expect a similar outcome on Tuesday.
We don’t expect Invictus Gaming to compete for the LPL 2022 Summer title, but they have done well against stronger opponents. Last week, they earned a map against Bilibili Gaming which are very similar to LNG in terms of sloppy objective control. And if IG managed to win a map against BLG, they certainly can do the same against LNG.
WEIBO GAMING vs ANYONE’S LEGEND LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Best Odds: | WBG $1.28 at GG Bet | AL $3.50 at GG Bet |
When: | July 5, 2022 | 20:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
?Weibo Gaming are 4-3 after four weeks, which isn’t terrible, but they’ve not looked good against the LPL top dogs. Still, they’ve been efficient in beating lesser teams, which should come in handy on Tuesday.
Anyone’s Legends have faced a middling schedule so far, so we wouldn’t overreact to their 3-3 record. The main thing we can take from AL’s games is that they consistently fall behind early, yet they usually find a way to fight back and win maps in which they had a significant deficit.
You could claim that Anyone’s Legend have a very good late game, but their stats prove that AL is a fraudulent team. So while they have results, those won’t be sustainable when other teams figure them out.
If we had to pick a side, it would be Weibo Gaming, but they lack discipline, so we have to believe Anyone’s Legend can win at least one map.
EDWARD GAMING vs THUNDERTALK GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Best Odds: | EDG $1.14 at GG Bet | TT $5.00 at GG Bet |
When: | July 1, 2022 | 17:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
??EDward Gaming might be LoL world champions, but their performances this split have not reflected that. EDG are 4-1, which looks good on paper, but theyve won just eight of 13 maps (62% win rate), having dropped at least one in all but one of their wins.
Its fair to say that EDG have had their issues this split, but we wouldnt call them that. While EDG havent been perfect, a lot of that comes from the team testing their limits and expanding the champion pool.
ThunderTalk are objectively weaker than EDG, but theyve been playing well and have looked good even in their losses. Its not like TT Gaming will be a league winner or a playoff team, but they have improved from LPL 2022 Spring and can do some damage.
This is a spot where you either believe EDward Gaming will take care of business or continue exploring new playstyles and give TT Gaming a fighting chance. Either way, this should be a bloody affair that will likely drag out until the late game.
ANYONES LEGEND vs VICTORY FIVE LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | AL $4.50 at GG Bet | V5 $1.16 at GG Bet |
When: | July 1, 2022 | 17:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
?Anyones Legend have had a challenging schedule, but they pulled through and now enter the final match of LPL 2022 Summer Week 4 with a 3-2 record. Last week, they won against Invictus Gaming (2-1) as slight favourites but lost against LGD Gaming (0-2), making it though to make much sense of their form.
Victory Five have yet to taste defeat this split, and if they can keep playing this way, V5 will remain unbeaten for a while longer. Theyre 5-0 with a near-perfect 10-1 map record while holding the second-best average performance numbers (behind only JD Gaming). A truly elite team with very few weaknesses, V5 are a team you dont want to bet against.
This might be the perfect let-down game for Victory Five, but this is not a narrative that makes much sense in this spot. You either take V5 to cover the map handicap, or skip betting on this match.
RARE ATOM vs FUNPLUS PHOENIX LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | RA $1.75 at GG Bet | FPX $2.00 at GG Bet |
When: | June 29, 2022 |17:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
It’s been two weeks since the first round of LPL 2022 Summer, and FunPlus Phoenix have yet to get their name on the board. However, their 0-5 record is very misleading.
Over the first two weeks of action, FunPlus Phoenix had to face (and lost against) EDward Gaming (1-2), Invictus Gaming (0-2), Royal Never Give Up (1-2), Victory Five (0-2), and Top Esports (1-2). Yet somehow, the market has failed to realise that besides Invictus Gaming, FPX had to play the best teams in the league, and still, they took maps away from a few of them.
Rare Atom are 1-3, which looks better on paper, but their only win came against OMG (2-1), which isn’t spectacular, nor is it too inspiring to see RA lose against Anyone’s Legend (0-2), Ultra Prime (1-2), and Weibo Gaming (1-2).
The market has overreacted to FPX’s 0-5 run, but we can’t complain since we’re getting very generous odds on a team that is arguably superior to Rare Atom. A smaller wager on FPX to win 2-0 is worth a look, but we’ll stick with the moneyline.
WEIBO GAMING vs ULTRA PRIME LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | WBG $1.36 at GG Bet | UP $3.00 at GG Bet |
When: | June 29, 2022 |19:00 CEST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
Weibo Gaming have had their fair share of shaky performances this season, but they’re 3-2 with wins against Rare Atom (2-1), Team WE (2-1), and Invictus Gaming (2-1). We’re not saying that is good, but it’s a solid starting point.
On the other side, Ultra Prime are 2-2 with wins against OMG (2-0) and Rare Atom (2-1) and defeats against JD Gaming (1-2) and Bilibili Gaming (1-2). Some may argue that losing against BLG and JDG yet still taking a map in each series is impressive UltraPrime’s standards, which is true – however, those two map wins were complete flukes.
Ultra Prime’s fast start to the season is a bit fraudulent, and we don’t see how UP can keep getting away with it. A swift 2-0 stomp from Weibo Gaming is the most likely outcome in our book.
VICTORY FIVE vs TEAM WE LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | V5 $1.22 at GG Bet | WE $4.00 at GG Bet |
When: | June 25, 2022 |17:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
Victory Five got off to a fast start to the summer split, picking up four straight victories while dropping just one map (8-1). That might not sound too impressive given the team’s status, but they won against the reigning Mid-Season Invitational champions Royal Never Give Up (2-1) on Saturday and stomped FunPlus Phoenix (2-0) a few days prior.
What’s interesting is that V5 looked a bit off in some of their wins against weaker teams, but overall they’re playing much better than in LPL 2022 Spring (stat-wise). Last split, V5 had to count on Song “Rookie” Eui-jin to bail them out from some sticky situations, but without him, it seems like everyone else is stepping up C which is scary.
We won’t spend too many words on Team WE, who are possibly the weakest team in the league. But that’s hardly surprising considering how underwhelming WE have been over the last few splits.
The biggest issue we have with Team WE is their inability to do anything meaningful in the first 20 minutes, and if you cannot show some teeth early against V5, you’re doomed from the start. Nothing fancy here C we’ll trust Victory Five to sweep Team WE, as they should.
LNG ESPORTS vs TOP ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | LNG $2.10 at GG Bet | TES $1.66 at GG Bet |
When: | June 28, 2022 |20:00 CEST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
LNG Esports might be a very stacked team, but we have some concerns about this squad, mainly due to their questionable neutral objective setup and lack of vision control. You can still trust LNG to defeat lesser teams by brute-forcing games and counting on individual talent to lead them to glory. But against teams such as Top Esports, they’ll need to show a bit more.
Top Esports sit inside the top three in the league standings, and they’ll likely remain there for a while longer. This is an elite-level team that can do serious damage domestically and internationally, but there’s something about how TES like to play that makes them very hit-or-miss.
Aggression is TES’s name of the game (14.8 average kills C 3rd-most in LPL), and they’re fairly consistent in gaining leads either through kills or neutral objectives (62.5% dragon control, 61.1% Baron control). However, we saw them stumble against FunPlus Phoenix (2-1), so it’s entirely likely that they drop a map on Tuesday knowing that LNG are stronger than FPX.
As flawed as LNG Esports are, they need to win and have enough talent to compete against LPL’s best. This is more of a “you can do it” angle, but at $1.90, we’ll trust LNG to force a three-map series.
INVICTUS GAMING vs EDWARD GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | IG $4.08 at GG Bet | EDG $1.22 at GG Bet |
When: | June 22, 2022 | 17:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
?EDward Gaming have played three games so far this split and have done reasonably well. They won against FunPlus Phoenix (2-1) in Week 1, picked up a convincing 2-0 sweep of Weibo Gaming last Monday, but then had to admit defeat to JD Gaming (0-2) on Friday.
A 2-1 is not a bad tally considering the quality of the teams EDG had to face, but many expected them to be 3-0 at this point, so EDward have a lot more to prove. Invictus Gaming are 1-2, which isn’t great, but they did well in their recent fixtures.
IG forced a three-map series against Weibo Gaming (2-1) in their LPL 2022 Summer opener, crushed FunPlus Phoenix (2-0) last week, but were no match for Top Esports (0-2) this past weekend. Overall, Invictus Gaming have exceeded expectations, but the question remains C what can they do against the reigning world champions?
EDward Gaming are huge favourites for this match, and they deserve to be, but we like what we see from Invictus Gaming, who have shown to be very resilient. We don’t expect to see an upset, but the +1.5 handicap on IG at $1.94 is an easy choice.
TOP ESPORTS vs BILIBILI GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | TES $4.08 at GG Bet | BLG $1.22 at GG Bet |
When: | June 22, 2022 | 19:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
?Bilibili Gaming have a good enough roster to be competitive, but they have yet to find any traction this split. Their defeat against LNG Esports (1-2) in Week 1 wasn’t particularly terrible, but it’s hard to defend BLG for their performances against UltraPrime (2-1) and Anyone’s Legend (0-2).
Given their unconvincing showings, it makes sense for Bilibili Gaming to be priced as underdogs against Top Esports, but we would argue that even $2.75 is too low. Top Esports slipped in the opening week of LPL 2022 Summer against JD Gaming (1-2), but they’ve since picked up two commanding 2-0 sweeps against Team WE and Invictus Gaming.
Bilibili Gaming are not known for causing upsets, and considering their struggles around neutral objectives this season, it’s very tough to make a case for them here. This is Top Esports’ game to lose.
VICTORY FIVE vs FUNPLUS PHOENIX LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | V5 $1.36 at GG Bet | FPX $3.00 at GG Bet |
When: | June 21, 2022 | 17:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
?FunPlus Phoenix have not started the summer split the way they’d like and head into the third week of the split with a 0-3 record. However, they had to face EDward Gaming (1-2), Invictus Gaming (0-2), and Royal Never Give Up (1-2), so we should give the former LoL world champions some slack.
Victory Five have looked way better across the opening two rounds of LPL 2022 Summer, albeit they had only won against ThunderTalk Gaming and LGD Gaming (both 2-0), which is hardly impressive. V5 played well in both games, but they have yet to be properly tested.
There is no good reason to have V5 priced as $1.36 favourites for this match. They might be better individually, but not by much, and we don’t know whether they’re good enough to compete against top teams. It’s also worth noting that FPX added Park “Summit” Woo-tae to the lineup this weekend, which should introduce a more stable top side.
FunPlus Phoenix with a +1.5 handicap at $1.61 is an easy choice at the offered LoL esports odds. A half-unit wager on FPX to cause an upset is also worth considering.
ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP vs WEIBO GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | RNG $1.53 at GG Bet | WBG $2.37 at GG Bet |
When: | June 21, 2022 | 20:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
?Royal Never Give Up are technically the current best team in the world, but we have seen them play just one game on the new patch (2-1 against FPX). Due to their lack of games this split, it’s tough to say how good RNG will be; however, they’re rightly priced as the favourites against Weibo Gaming.
Weibo Gaming are a very stacked squad and potential LPL title candidates. However, defending that statement is tough following their 0-2 defeat against EDward Gaming and an unconvincing 2-1 victory against Team WE.
Betting against Weibo Gaming is tricky because this team can pop-off at any given moment and give a hard time even to the league’s top teams. But we have yet to see that side of Weibo Gaming, so it comes down to whether we trust our eyes or put more weight on Weibo’s potential.
At $2.37, Weibo Gaming might be an appealing pick, but the number is way too low for our taste. Likewise, we don’t like RNG at $1.53 even though they should win. Weibo are good enough to put up a fight and steal one map, so we’ll take over 2.5 maps at even money.
??FPX took to their official Twitter account to announce the Summit acquisition, saying they were excited to have secured the signature of the Korean player following a solid LCS Spring campaign with C9. ??
LOL Roster Update: Today we’re thrilled to announce Summit will be joining the FPX family as our new top laner! the tweet read.
After his exceptional performance in the LCS Spring Season, we’re excited to see him bring a new perspective to our team! ?Let’s give a warm welcome to FPX. Summit!??
Having spent about five months with Cloud9 and featuring in his first North American split, Summit will return to Asia in order to debut in the League of Legends Pro League (LPL). While he performed well in his time with the NA franchise and had a good run in the LCS Spring Split, he was outperformed by other top laners from other franchises in the tournament.
??Summit’s acquisition by C9 hinged on the role swap of Ibrahim Fudge Allami at the start of the season. Fudge had moved to the midlane to create room for Summit as the top laner. But after their playoff run came to an end, the franchise replace Summit with Fudge, moving him back to the top lane. ??
Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen returned to the team on May 11 to reclaim his midlane role, which in turn forced Summit out of the team. C9 finished fourth in the LCS Spring Split after being swept by Evil Geniuses. ??
Summit joins FPX with the league only just starting, but the team ranks last place in the LPL Summer Split regular season. His signing could be uplifting to a team that has featured in three outings and lost all three games.
??FPX’s first game of the season was against Edward Gaming, who won 2-1. Their second outing ended in a 0-2 clean sweep against Invictus Gaming, while their most recent bout ended 1-2 in favor of Royal Never Give Up.
??The franchise is looking to make some changes with the signing of the former Cloud9 star, which they hope will lead to positive results. While Summit is not known for his consistency, a change of environment and some alterations to the meta could be a recipe for success.
??The 23-year-old will make his debut in FPXs next game, which is against the second-placed team on the standings, Victory Five, on June 21.

JD GAMING vs LGD GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

?JD Gaming defeated Top Esports on Saturday with a solid performance. Some of their success can be attributed to strong drafting, but even individually Bai “369” Jia-Hao and co. showed up.
LGD Gaming have yet to play a game this split, so we don’t know how the current patch suits them; however, we don’t expect that to impact how this game plays out. LGD Gaming are arguably the weakest teams in the league and will have to overperform to stand a chance against JDG.
Barring any surprises, LGD should finish this split inside the bottom three, and it wouldn’t be too surprising to see them fail to reach five total wins. That might sound like a bold take, but based on their LPL 2022 Summer performances and failure to introduce more quality to the roster, that’s the reality.
TOP ESPORTS vs TEAM WE LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|

Best Odds: | TES $1.16 at GG Bet | WE $4.50 at GG Bet |
When: | June 14, 2022 | 19:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
?Top Esports lost their opening series of the split, albeit against JD Gaming, so we wouldn’t overreact to that defeat. This is still a very strong team and one of the main candidates to reach the playoffs, and they might even compete for the LPL crown; granted, a lot will come down to how the meta develops this split.
Team WE have yet to play a game this split, but we don’t need to see them play to know that WE won’t make it far this season. Team WE ended LPL 2022 Spring in 15th place with an abysmal 4-12 record, and we don’t expect them to do much better this time out.
Even though Team WE signed a new bottom lane duo in ADC Han “Smlz” Jin and support Peng “heal” Jun-Jie, that doesn’t guarantee them any more success. We don’t even know if the new signings will play, and even if they do, it’s not like Smlz and heal are world-class players.
Top Esports showed some cracks last week, but this is one of the games they shouldn’t be losing, nor should TES be dropping a map against such a weak opponent.
ANYONE’S LEGEND vs RARE ATOM LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

---|---|
Best Odds: | AL $2.37 at GG Bet | RA $1.53 at GG Bet |
When: | June 11, 2022 | 16:45 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
?Anyone’s Legend finished LPL 2022 Spring in 13th place with a 5-11 record, and we don’t expect them to do much better in the final split of the season. That is mainly because Anyone’s Legend did not make any roster changes besides adding mid laner Zhou “Harder” Shi-Hao, who will likely be a substitute anyway. But there’s more.
Jungler Peng “Xiaohao” Hao, an outstanding player in 2021, left a lot to be desired in LPL 2022 Spring. Meanwhile, mid laner Deng “Forge” Jie, who is known for his assassins, will struggle in the current meta. On a more positive note, Anyone’s Legend has a solid bottom lane, but that’s about everything this team can bring to the table.
Like Anyone’s Legend, Rare Atom did not make any roster changes, but they were one of the most consistent teams in LPL 2022 Spring and even made the playoffs. That’s not to say that Rare Atom wouldn’t benefit from adding a bit more quality, but the organisation seems to be satisfied with fielding a gatekeeping team.
Talent-wise, Rare Atom are not far ahead of Anyone’s Legend, but they were very consistent in beating weaker teams, and we expect that trend to continue. However, since this is their first season match, we will play it safe and take Rare Atom on the moneyline.
JD GAMING vs TOP ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | JDG $2.10 at GG Bet | TES $1.66 at GG Bet |
When: | June 11, 2022 | 19:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
?Top Esports decided to keep its LPL 2022 Spring roster, and we don’t see a problem with that primarily because it’s very tough to improve this lineup. And realistically, it wouldn’t make sense to make changes to a roster that came one map short of winning the LPL crown.
Obviously, this is not a perfect team, which was most noticeable in the LPL 2022 Spring grand finals, where they struggled against Royal Never Give Up but forced the eventual Mid-Season Invitational champions to five maps is nothing to sneeze at.
Like TES, JD Gaming kept its roster intact, which is hardly surprising. Admittedly, JDG struggled early into the season, but they found their rhythm just in time to finish the regular season in third place (11-5) before crashing out of the playoffs in fourth place.
TES and JDG are two of LPL’s strongest teams, but if you put the two rosters side by side, Top Esports should have an edge mainly due to their strong(er) solo lanes. Top laner Bai “369” Jia-Hao and mid laner Zeng “Yagao” Qi are very talented, but they did not impress in the playoffs, and until we see some improvement from them, we will continue to doubt JDG when faced with other Chinese top teams.
INVICTUS GAMING vs WEIBO GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

---|---|
Best Odds: | IG $4.33 at GG Bet | WG $1.20 at GG Bet |
When: | June 10, 2022 | 16:45 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
?Invictus Gaming will kick off LPL 2022 Spring with a tough match against one of the league’s top teams, Weibo Gaming. These first-round games give the underdogs the best chance of upsetting the favourites, but it’s hard to make a strong case for IG even at the offered LoL esports betting odds.
Invictus Gaming will struggle to improve upon their performances in the previous split due to failing to make any notable roster upgrades. And it’s not too crazy to think that IG will again place outside of the top 10.
Weibo Gaming have not made any roster changes either, but they didn’t have to. Boasting one of the most stacked rosters in the Chinese LoL league, they are deservingly one of the outright favourites ($9.00) to win the title. And they might do it as long as Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok can continue showing that he is no longer the coin-flip player he was known to be during his time at IG.
This is Weibo Gaming’s game to lose, and unless IG players have a game of their lives, it should end in a swift 2-0 victory for the favourites.
EDWARD GAMING vs FUNPLUS PHOENIX LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Best Odds: | EDG $4.33 at GG Bet | FPX $1.20 at GG Bet |
When: | June 10, 2022 | 19:00 CST |
Watch Live: | Lolesports, Twitch |
?EDward Gaming were expected to dominate the league last split, but unfortunately, things did not play out as expected, as they could only manage a seventh-place finish in the regular season and did not impress in the playoffs either C crashing out of the second round against Weibo Gaming. However, on a more positive note, EDG demolished FunPlus Phoenix in the first round of the playoffs (3-1).
FunPlus Phoenix enter LPL 2022 Summer with a slightly different roster, which now features many former academy players. We don’t have a problem with the strategy FPX chose since they need to rebuild following the departure of the 2019 LoL World Championship roster, but that also means that FPX is not aiming at the LPL title this split.
Realistically, they can’t set their goals for LPL 2022 Summer that high since FPX’s squad isn’t talented enough to compete with China’s top teams. They should still finish inside the top 10, but an eighth-place finish is their ceiling. On the other side, EDG have kept the core roster intact and added just one player in jungler Yu “JunJia” Chun-Chia, who has returned from a short stint at Rare Atom.
Without any changes, EDG look to be as strong as they were in the previous split, although they should be more efficient now that the players have formed a stronger bond. FPX, on the other hand, seem to have a high ceiling with younger talent, but they remain much weaker than EDG.
