Top VALORANT betting sites had T1 priced pre-tournament as one of the biggest outsiders to win VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025, but they proved all the doubters wrong with wins against Trace Esports and regional rivals DRX to make it to the playoffs.
T1 looked much better than expected, largely thanks to their core of Ham “iZu” Woo-Joo, Kim “Meteor” Tae-o, and Yu “BuZz” Byung-chu, who are respectively ranked third, seventh, and eighth in overall player ratings. For EDward Gaming, most of their success is thanks to Wan “CHICHOO” Shunzh, who played a key role in the victory against G2 Esports.
EDward Gaming deserve recognition for beating G2, but T1 come in with momentum and have a better win rate on Pearl and Lotus. At $1.57, T1 to take a map is a solid bet.

While G2 Esports entered VCT Masters Bangkok 2025 as outright title favourites with William Hill, the market is backing Team Vitality to win on Thursday and take one step closer to the coveted trophy.
EMEA’s first seed started the group stage with a 2-0 win over T1, but they needed three maps to make it past VCT Pacific Kickoff champions DRX, who nearly forced overtime on the final map.
G2 Esports were not quite as successful in the groups. While they swept Team Liquid and Trace Esports, G2 were also reverse-swept by EDward Gaming with 8-13 on Bind and 4-13 on Fracture. This is still a strong team, but that result made them appear vulnerable.
Team Vitality have a better win rate on Bind, Split, and Fracture, whereas G2 Esports do notably better on Pear and Haven and have a 75% win rate on Abyss compared to Vitality’s 67%. Those margins are not enough to justify backing Vitality at this price, so take the overs on total maps instead.
